Ching-I Tu is a Professor of Chinese and East Asian Studies and the Director of the Confucius Institute of Rutgers University (CIRU). He has introduced and taught a large number of courses in Chinese and Chinese Studies at the undergraduate and graduate levels, received numerous grants for curriculum, faculty, and program development in Chinese and East Asian Studies, and served on many committees at and outside Rutgers.

Professor Tu is a co-editor of Chinese Classics and Thought (forthcoming in 2012 from CIRU Rutgers University).
