Institutional Members enjoy an array of special AAS benefits designed to suit the needs of academic programs/departments, organizations, and foundations working in the field of Asian Studies. We welcome new Institutional Members on a rolling basis; for more information, or to complete an application on behalf of your organization, please see the AAS website.In September, we are pleased to highlight the Department of Asian Language & Cultures (ALC) at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. In 2020, 27 majors graduated with B.A. degrees from the undergraduate ALC program; the department also offers master’s degrees in East Asian Languages & Cultures, as well as a graduate degree for teachers of Chinese. Other unique offerings at ALC include their Korean-English Translation & Interpreting Certificate Program and a concurrent enrollment program in Chinese with Point Pleasant Beach High School.
